Space Rentals

The old sewerage works, registered historical landmark, offers its unconventional industrial interior from the era of czech industrial art deco for organising bussines and cultural events, weddings, movie and still-picture shooting sessions, lectures, conferences, exhibitions etc. To make the event even more interesting, romantic tours through the underground, lit by candles, can be organised, as well as presentation of unique, more than 100 yers old, functional, steam engines made by Breitfield & Daněk in 1903. The old sewerage works was a part of the system of Prague's sewer system, made between 1895 and 1906 according to the project of English engineer William Heerlein Lindley.

From July 1, 2010, the old sewerage plant will become registered national historical landmark.

Meeting Room

The meeting room is suitable for organising business meetings, conferences, lectures, birthday parties, weddings etc. This room has a capacity of 30 seated persons or 40 standing persons. A small kitchenette and entry room suitable for coffee break are included.

Main Hall

Sufficiently large, comfortable hall is suitable for organising weddings, balls, concerts and celebrations with a maximum capacity of 400 persons standing and 200 seated persons. Of advantage is a 16m high ceiling - the whole place has a comfortable, airy feeling.

Gallery

The main hall is connected with a smaller room for maximum of 40 persons seated or 60 persons standing. This room has a specially build floor with a gallery and a capacity of 20 persons seated or 30 persons standing.

Catering Facilities

Connected with the gallery there is an independent room available for catering, with a place for 50 seated persons or 70 standing persons. This room has an outside access, with possible parking. This enables continuous movement of for the catering, independent of the main event.

Underground

The underground of the old sewage cleaning works is used for guided tours and introduction to the original cleaning method and technology used for cleaning waste water in Prague. During special events, the whole underground can be lit by hundreds of candles and provides a place for fascinating, romantic walk through part of the sewer system. Professional information and tours are available in Czech, English or German languages. These underground rooms of the old sewage cleaning works are popular among filmmakers for their unusual atmosphere.

Engine Room

On clients request, we shall prepare a demonstration of more than 100 years old Breitfield & Daněk steam engines from 1903. These engines are still admired by history lovers not only for their beauty, but also for their functionality. They have becomed a true european rarity.
